- Locate a reputable website that lists and explains the Nine Elements of Digital Citizenship
- Bookmark the website on your device
- In your notes, write down what you believe to be the most valuable element?
Locate Idaho Leads on Pinterest. If you don't have a Pinterest account, you can create one or just search for Idaho Leads on Pinterest.com
- If you have an account, follow Idaho Leads on Pinterest and then look at the 21st Century Classroom Board.
- If you don't have account, look at the 21st Century Classroom Board
- Re-Pin 1 or more of the digital citizenship posts found on the Idaho Leads Pinterest page
- Re-Pin what you believe to be the most valuable pin to you and your district

- Find a Twitter account that has information on digital citizenship and/or social media in school and follow it.

Log into your Edmodo account, if you don't have an Edmodo account, go to Edmodo.com and create one (as a teacher).
- Join the Digital Citizenship Group using the code: k5x39x
- Once you have joined the Digital Citizenship Group, post one of the 9 elements of digital citizenship on the group's wall.
- Go to Folders (at the top of your Edmodo screen) view Digital Citizenship Resources
- Look through 3-5 resources
- Post the resource you find most useful to the Digital Citizenship Group page.
- Comment on why this resource is useful to you.
- Comment on someone else's post.

Think about your school district and brainstorm how you are or will address digital citizenship. Remember what CIPA says: “they must provide for educating minors about appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking websites and in chat rooms, and cyber bully awareness and response.”
